American Pancakes

Ingredients for 1 Portion:

Instructions:

Add flour, sugar and baking soda to a large bowl and combine. Add the egg and milk to the bowl and mix until the texture is smooth. Heat a pan to medium heat. Add pancake batter. Flip once. Stack pancakes on a plate with maple syrup between each layer. Top the stack off with more maple syrup.

Notes:

Add frozen berries or pomegranate seeds to add a layer of depth in terms of flavor and texture.
